Creativity Boot Camp
Day 9: Drizzle
Okay, I'm loving boot camp.
it feels like play.
I'm loving the pace.
Since boot camp is so quick (a piece a day)
it requires me
to let go
and go quick
without over thinking.
and without even finishing.
i want to paint
and use watercolor crayons
and stitch...
but I'm letting myself be okay
with this
undone
black + white
right now.
I love this piece! I too am having so much fun. It's caused me to take on new ideas and sketch things I normally wouldn't have though of. I'm going to be sad when it's over!
ReplyDeleteI absolutely love your style. And you are my idol for being published in Somerset Studio. Congrats! I have that issue. I'm going to look you up. So cool! Hoping I can do the same some day:)
ReplyDeleteGreat drawings, your style is really free!
ReplyDeleteLovely.
ReplyDeleteI feel the same way about this bootcamp; the quickness of the assignments really forces you to let go and just create. Which is such a relief after years of crippling perfectionism.
I love your drawing! It's beautiful and it's a great interpretation of a tricky theme! Well done! {so glad you're liking Boot Camp!}
